Today, we head to a hidden gem: Siquijor, often called the island of healers and sorcerers.

An early start with breakfast to-go, followed by a one-hour flight to Dumaguete. Then, a 45-minute ferry crossing will gently bring you to Siquijor (ferry schedules may vary, so a little patience may be needed—but it’s worth it!).

Upon arrival, a shuttle will take you through jungle and ocean views to your postcard-perfect hotel.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy: relax by the sea, swim in the crystal-clear waters of the marine sanctuary, or simply enjoy the peace, feet in the sand and a cocktail in hand.

This is a self-guided tour ("freedom formula"), so there is no permanent tour leader. However, you’ll be greeted at each stage and accompanied by local English-speaking guides during the planned excursions.

Is this program physically demanding?

Not at all! This itinerary is gentle and accessible, even without any particular physical condition. Activities such as swimming or hiking up a Chocolate Hill are optional and can be done at your own pace. Comfort and well-being are central to this journey.

When is the best time to visit the Visayas?

The best time to travel is from December to May, during the dry season. The weather is ideal for enjoying beaches, excursions, and tropical landscapes without rain.

Can I extend the trip or customize parts of it?

Yes, absolutely! This trip can be tailored to your wishes—extra nights, different hotels, or private excursions (please note that there are no French-speaking tourist guides in the Philippines). Just let us know during your quote request, and we’ll adapt the program to suit your needs.

Do I need a visa to travel to the Philippines?

If you are a European citizen, no visa is required for tourist stays of less than 30 days. You only need a passport valid for at least 6 months after your entry date and a return or onward ticket.
If you wish to stay longer than 30 days, an on-site extension can be requested at the immigration office. Other citizen must check with us.

What vaccinations are recommended for this trip to the Philippines?

For this tour in the Visayas, it's recommended to be up to date on routine vaccines: diphtheria, tetanus, polio, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rubella.
The hepatitis A vaccine is strongly recommended for all travelers due to the risk of contaminated food or water.
