Step into the Sacred Valley, a land of mysticism and timeless traditions.

Today, we journey to the Sacred Valley, a magical region that has been home to generations of Andean women. We will start our day early, departing Cusco at 8:00 AM in a private vehicle. Our first stop is Chinchero, a village where women still weave using ancient techniques passed down through generations. They’ll demonstrate the art of weaving with vibrant colors, and you’ll get a chance to try it yourself, creating a unique souvenir.

We then head to the Salineras de Maras, where you’ll learn about the salt mining process that women have been involved in for centuries. Witness how these communities rely on natural resources and work together to maintain their ancestral practices.

Next, we visit Moray, an impressive archaeological site that once served as an agricultural laboratory. Women in the surrounding areas have been involved in farming for generations, and you’ll learn about the ancient methods they used to cultivate the land.

After this enriching journey, we will have a delicious lunch at Apu Verónica restaurant in Ollantaytambo, where Carmen, a remarkable Andean woman, has created a space that celebrates local food and culture. Taste traditional dishes made from organic ingredients, grown by local women farmers in the region.
